Description

From the collection of Gary Treible
Originally known as the 'Boy Craft', the Bradley 5 in 1 truck was a dual purpose wagon designed for both play and farm work. A variety of models were offered in the late '30s and early '40s known variously as the Bradley '3 in 1', '4 in 1', and '5 in 1' trucks. The 5 in 1 (shown here) was offered only in 1939
Made by Steel Craft in 1939/40 this tractor was the 'junior' version of the full sized Graham-Bradley farm tractor. Unfortunately, except for the art-deco font used for the lettering on the cowl, the tractor does not resemble the real thing at all.

From the late 30's to the early 1950's the Auburn Rubber Co. made a line of farm toys for Sears that carried the David Bradley name. Of these, the most interesting is the Graham Bradley tractor. Made of hard rubber, this toy is a fairly accurate representation of the real thing. Read an article on this item
